James Corden was born on August 22, 1978, in Hillingdon, Greater London. His father, Malcolm, and mother, Margaret, were followers of the Salvation Army church so he was highly influenced by the Christian faith as a child. He was raised as the middle of three children, along with older sister, Andrea and younger sister, Ruth. He sought attention at an early age and after attending Park Middle School and Holmer Green Upper School in Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire, he went on to pursue a career as an actor and writer, particularly in comedies. Corden is married to Julia Carey and they have two children, a son and a daughter.
