Comedian, actress, and television host Roseanne Barr has worn many hats throughout the years. She is best known for her role as a funny housewife in the American sitcom Roseanne, where audiences either loved her fierce and uncensored style or they hated it. Although she has not been in the Hollywood spotlight much since then, Barr has remained active in areas that might come as a surprise to most, and she sports an entirely different look to boot. Here is a look at Roseanne Barr throughout the years.
10. A Troubled Upbringing
Barr had somewhat of a bizarre childhood. When she was three years old, Barr developed Bell’s palsy on the left side of her face, which was temporary and cleared up on its own. When she was sixteen, she suffered a brain injury after being hit by a car in which she experienced nightmares and memory loss. She was institutionalized for eight months due to radical behavior at the Utah State Hospital and later dropped out of high school.
